According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, Siddharth Singh, 14, of Gurbhakot Municipality-13, Gumi of East Surkhet, drowned while swimming in the Bheri River on Sunday afternoon.
According to the police, Singh’s body, which went missing while swimming in the Bheri River at 4:30 PM, was found around 6 PM.
As soon as the news was received that he had drowned while swimming and disappeared, the police stationed from Ramghat police station found the body while searching with the help of his relatives.
DSP Birendra Bir Bishwokarma, the spokesperson for the District Police Office, said that the body was kept at Mehalkuna Hospital for a post-mortem.
The police are conducting necessary investigations into the incident.
