Bleeding

Your eyes fell into mine 

Assured me everything would be fine

Your eyes lingered on mine,

I thought I arrived just in time,

 

 I handed you my knife,

Only for you to take my life,

I expected you to walk away,

But to my surprise, you took the biggest stride.

 

I could have begged you to stay,

But I didn't have the energy to put up a fight.

 

While you are out there thriving try to make your boring life intriguing, 

You left me on the floor cold and bleeding
