Baglung accident update: Vice chairperson Budha Magar of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality dies
KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Bhupendra Budha Magar, the vice-chairperson of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality, Rukum East, has died in a road accident which occurred in Bhangkhani of Baglung earlier this morning.
The accident in Bhungkhani, Narethanti, Galkot Municipality, claimed the lives of three people this morning. According to police, the vehicle involved in the accident belongs to Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality and was carrying local government representatives. Among the deceased is 33-year-old Vice Chairman Budha Magar, the identities of the two other victims are yet to be disclosed.
According to the District Police Office, Baglung, a government pickup truck with the registration number RA 1 JHA 200 fell about 300 meters down from the road around 8:45 AM today.
Meanwhile, one injured individual is reported to be in critical condition.
