Know MoreKATHMANDU, July 11: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), under the leadership of Ashok Rai, has issued a directive to its lawmakers, instructing them to vote against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's forthcoming confidence motion scheduled for Friday. Expressing solidarity with the newly formed alliance between the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress (NC), JSP Chairman Ashok Rai affirmed the party's stance.
Earlier, both the CPN-UML and the NC also issued similar whips, compelling their legislators to oppose PM Dahal's motion. This strategic alliance between Nepal's two largest political entities seeks to unseat the Dahal-led government and establish new administrations at both federal and provincial levels.
