KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The Nepal Medical Council (NMC) has published the results of its special examination for doctors, held on August 1 and 2. This year, an impressive 91.45 percent of candidates passed, marking one of the highest pass rates ever recorded.

Dr Satish Kumar Dev, registrar of the NMC, reported that out of the 970 registrants, 966 participated in the exam, with 878 passing. Results for six candidates have been withheld.

The examination, conducted over two days at the Nepal Institute of Engineering Studies in Pulchowk, saw participation from both new students and those preparing for DM/MCh, contributing to the strong results.
