15 injured in bus accident at Ambukhareni

KATHMANDU, Sept 11:  A passenger bus met with an accident in Ambukhareni of Tanahun district, leaving 15 injured.

The bus with registration number Ga 1 Ba 9402, which was traveling from Mugling to Tanahun, fell into a ditch between the old and new bridges built in Khare Khola in front of Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality office at around 4:10 PM on Wednesday.

According to Tek Prasad Subedi, police inspector of Ambukhareni area police office, out of 15 injured in the accident, the three individuals sustained serious injuries while the condition of the remaining 12 persons is said to be normal.

Police Inspector Subedi said that among the injured, 65-year-old Manraj Pariyar of Gorkha Palungtar-7 was in critical condition and was referred to Chitwan for further treatment.
