Yadav elected as PP leader of JSP

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has been elected unopposed as the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has been elected unopposed as the leader of the parliamentary party (PP) of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).



He was elected unopposed after Ashok Rai, who had previously claimed to be the leader of the parliamentary party, withdrew.

Only Yadav's nomination was registered for the election to the PP leader.


Yadav is a confidant of JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav. He was elected from Bara-2.


JSP has 12 MPs in the House of Representatives.
