Addressing an interaction organized by the Reporters´ Club, Nepal in the capital, Baidya argued that all the agreements on contentious issues in constitution writing would be revoked as Dahal reached the agreements deviating from the party stance.[break]
“Party chairman has deviated from the party line. All those agreements would be revoked,” he said, adding: “The party´s official line is people´s revolution. How can we accept an agreement that does not fix ceiling on property?”
Baidya argued that since the new constitution would be finally endorsed by the Constituent Assembly, they would not accept agreements reached against the party´s official decisions. He also questioned the relevance of Dahal-led subcommittee.
Baidya said that they would not accept the wordings “people´s movement” in new statute if the wordings “people´s war” are not enshrined in the preamble.
Baidya also criticized the government led by his own party. While terming Baburam Bhattarai-led government as the most unsuccessful ever, he demanded that the prime minister step down immidiately.
