Since then, in-person registrations have decreased while the number of new voters has begun to rise. Following the announcement of the upcoming elections, more than 285,000 individuals have already registered at election offices across the country, while over 200,000 people completed their registration through the National ID within just three days.

The EC has undertaken the voter registration and update process in preparation for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections scheduled for March 5. Initially, the deadline for voter registration was set for November 16, but the EC has extended it by five days, allowing citizens to register until November 21.
