Plastic banned in Energy Ministry

KATHMANDU, March 31: The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has imposed a complete ban on the use of plastic materials starting today. The ministry said the decision was implemented to promote environmental protection, cleanliness, and a commitment to sustainable development.



According to the ministry, the step aims to reduce the negative environmental impacts caused by the excessive use of plastic and to encourage the use of alternative eco-friendly materials.
