KATHMANDU, March 31: Former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi has accused her ex-husband GP Timilsina of repeatedly causing her mental distress and interfering in her personal life.
Khadgi, who divorced Timilsina in 2020, publicly shared her concerns through a series of social media posts, saying she would no longer remain silent about the issue. She alleged that her former husband has been interfering in her rights, verbally abusing her, and behaving rudely toward relatives and friends who visit her from her maternal side.
She said she felt compelled to speak out after the situation became unbearable and indicated that the time had come to seek help from the authorities.

Khadgi also raised concerns about property division, stating that according to a court decision, the house where she currently lives should be equally shared, with 25 percent ownership each among four individuals: herself, her daughter, her son, and Timilsena. However, she claims that Timilsina insists the house belongs solely to him, which she says has caused her significant mental stress.
As a single mother raising two children, Khadgi said she now feels unsafe and has urged the new government to ensure her rights, justice, and security.
Questioning the rule of law, she said, “Is there law and order in this country? Are my rights protected? The government must ensure justice and guarantee my rights.”
