The corrugated sheets of the building, which consists of six rooms, have been blown away while the rooms remain there without doors and windows. The construction of the building was initiated with financial aid of Rs 1.5 million from the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction (MoPR). The construction of the building is yet to be completed even though more than Rs 1.1 million has already been spent.
The school administration has informed that the construction of the building couldn't be completed even in the last three years because of inactiveness of the community.
Locals claim that some of the intellectuals and leaders in the community brought the budget for the construction of the building but the task has been prolonged due to struggle among them for commission on the aid.
The school is to receive just Rs 450,000 more from the MoPR. Locals claim that the school building has been used for some other purposes and is a source of income for those involved in it and therefore has remained incomplete so far.
One of the locals Sarapa Natha opined that other organizations should make financial contribution to complete construction of the building as soon as possible.
The officials of the Building Construction Committee are accused of misusing the funds allocated for the construction of the building. Teachers of the school even informed that the labors, who worked for the building construction, haven't got their wages as the funds were misused.
The officials of the committee are seeking external funds after laborers are asking them their wages and to repair the building.
