RAJBIRAJ, Dec 25: Agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UMDF) cadres have 'prevented' the Youth Force (YF), a sister wing of CPN UML, from holding programs at Saptari on Friday.
Though the pre-scheduled programs of YF have been disrupted from the intervention, the YF is hell-bent on observing the programs.

YF Central Committee members including Parshuram Basnet have been forced to leave the venue and return to home town.
YF Saptari had organized programs at Rajbiraj and Kathauna. Basnet was expected to address the programs.
Basnet had been a soft target of the UDMF cadres who had been searching him from early Friday morning. UDMF cadres had reached to UML Saptari party office, program venues and hotels in search of Basnet and chanted slogans against the latter.
Police had to escort Basnet from the district to prevent any untoward incidents, sources say.
UDMF has issued a directive preventing any programs organized by the government and other parties.
