A truck hit Pariyar on Wednesday night, leaving him seriously injured. He breathed his last in course of treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) today, police said. Police are attempting to ascertain the vehicle involved in the accident and the driver.
Similarly, Homa Dhital, 26, of Birtamod died on the spot when she was knocked down by a school bus. She was taking her six-year-old son Ihsan to local Himresh Boarding School on a bicycle when she was hit by a bus belonging to another school, the District Police Office Jhapa said. RSS
