JHAPA, March 13: Two persons died in separate road accidents that occurred in Jhapa district on Saturday. According to police, the deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Saroj Karki of Shivasatasi Municipality and 43-year-old Kalsawati Rajbansi, 43, of Barhadashi Rural Municipality-5.

Motorcyclist Karki died on the spot after his motorcycle (Me 3 Pa 3747) was hit by a tipper (Na 1 Ta 6165) from the opposite direction at the Balubari-based camp in Kamal Rural Municipality-1.
Likewise, Rajbansi, who was injured after her over speeding scooter (Me 11 Pa 8451) lost control, died while receiving treatment at B and C Hospital in Birtamod, Spokesperson of Jhapa District Police Rakesh Thapa said.
