Three arrested with time bomb

KATHMANDU, Dec 24: Police have arrested three youths with time bomb from Tokha Friday night. Rajin Lo Tamang, 20, of Jagatpur-6, Chitwan, Shyam Giri, 18, of Dharan, Sunsari and Dhiraj Khatiwada of Dhapasi-4 were arrested with the time-bomb from their rented room in Tokha.



Police also found pamphlets of Nepal Defense Army from the room. Nepal Defense Army is an underground outfit responsible for setting off bombs at Assumption Church in Lalitpur on May 23, 2009, that killed three persons and at the entrance of United Mission to Nepal´s office in Thapathali last month. It has also carried out explosions at Nepali Congress (NC) office in Sanepa, the then Maoist office in Buddhanagar, Kantipur Publications office in Biratnagar and other places in the past.
