The scholarship covers tuition fees, health and accident insurance, and accommodation for four academic years. Any Nepali students with high school's minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5/4.0, a minimum of TOEFL iBT:62, TOEFL PBT:500, IELTS: 6.0, or higher are eligible to apply for the scholarships.KMUTNB President Professor Dr Teravuti Boonyasopon officially announced the university decision, which will be effective from the academic year 2015. He said that these scholarships are awarded to prospective students from Nepal to support a steep rise in the demand for potential graduates and to prepare students as qualified members of an interconnected global community.
KMUTNB Specialist Khagendra Raj Dhakal handed over the university's official announcement to Nepal's ambassador to Thailand Khaganath Adhikari on Friday at the Embassy of Nepal, Bangkok. Dhakal, who is also the president of Non-Resident Nepali Association, Thailand, appreciated the KMUTNB decision to support Nepal through those scholarships.
