Speaking at a press meet organized by Nepal Press Union, Dadheldhura on Wednesday, she underscored the need to safeguard the national unity.
Leader Koirala, also former Minister for Foreign Affairs, argued that if the country was federated into five provinces as in earlier five development regions, every federal province would rejoice the equal distribution of territory, natural and human resources.
On a different note, she said that the NC’s upcoming general assembly should entrust the younger generation with responsibilities.
Meanwhile, during the meeting with the party cadres in the district, the cadres suggested leader Koirala to collaborate with NC senior leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for NC's upcoming 13th general assembly.
When the cadres expressed their confidence that the party would get a new dimension under Deuba's leadership, Koirala chose not to comment on it. RSS
