KATHMANDU, Nov 27: Hundreds of students have formed a human chain along the Ring Raod in the capital in a symbolic protest against the Indian blockade and Tarai unrest, on Friday.
Holding placards, the students had gathered along the Ring Road saying the Indian blockade and Tarai unrest have seriously marred the students' right to study.

Shouting 'Let us Live and Study' as a main slogan, hundreds of students have taken to the streets and have formed a human chain at various intersections including Kalanki, Satdobato, Koteshwar, Chabahil, Maharajgunj, Balaju and Swayambhu. The students have hit the streets after the continuous protests in the Tarai region and unofficial Indian blockade have hit the children's rights.
According to chairman of the National Private & Boarding Schools' Association (N- PABSON) Karna Bahadur Shahi they will not hold corner meetings nor will shout any slogans. It is expected that around 500,000 students will participate in the program.
Various organizations including National Private & Boarding Schools' Association (N- PABSON), Private & Boarding Schools' Association (PABSON), Higher Secondary Schools' Association Nepal (HISSAN), Teachers' Union of Nepal have taken part in the part.
