All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), All Nepal National Independent Students Union – Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) and Nepal Student’s Union (NSU) locked out DEO Dirgha Dhoj Chapagain.[break]
The student unions have demanded scrapping of the decision to remove home center system saying that the decision has done injustice to students. Home center system allows students of a school to appear in the SLC exams in their own school.
According to Chapagain, a meeting between the student unions and District Education Office was inconclusive.
