Sofia, who bettered her own record in women's 50 m freestyle on Thursday, set another national record in the final of the women's 400 m freestyle, clocking 05 minutes and 07.91 seconds. Sofia surpassed Aditi Dhital's record set during the Third NSA Cup held in Kathmandu in 2013. Aditi's timing was 05 minutes and 36.27 seconds.
Sofia also won golds in women's 200 m individual medley closking 03 minutes and 03.34 seconds, 100 m freestyle (01 minutes and 05.34 seconds) and 50 m butterfly (33.00 seconds).
Similarly, Niharika bettered her own previous record in the women's 50 m breast-stroke clocking 39.44 seconds. Her previous timing was 39.78 seconds.
Meanwhile, Sirish claimed golds in men's 400 m individual medley (06 minutes 01.63 seconds), 200 m backstrokes (02 minutes 39.10 seconds), 200 m freestyle (02 minutes 20.48 seconds), 100 m butterfly (01 minute 08.98 seconds), 100 m breaststrokes (01 minute 13.94 seconds), 50 m backstroke (33.04 seconds) and 50 m freestyle (26.88 seconds).
Likewise, Sonira Bista claimed women's 200 m breaststroke title and Oshina Bharati won women's 100 m backstroke gold.
