DANG, Dec 13: Total six people lost their lives and two others were critically injured after the jeep and the bus collided head-to-head in the district.
After a marriage procession, the jeep (Ba 12 Cha 3122) was heading back to Shamshergunj, Banke from Chitwan that met with a collision at Rihar, Deukhuri with a bus (Ba 5 Kha 4090) en-route to Kathmandu from Mahendranagar at around 1 AM.

Six among total eight passengers of a jeep lost the life in an accident and all of them belong to Rapti-Sonari Rural municipality of Banke -informed Ward Police Office, Lamahi.
According to the police the deceased are: Bishwonath Adhikari (45), Prabin KC (5), Man Bahadur KC (53), Dipak Kumar Khadka (31), Bimala Khatri (45) and Datta Bahadur Khatri (59).
