Siddhartha Bank's branchless banking service in Bara

KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Siddhartha Bank has launched branchless banking service called ´Easy Banking´ in Lipnimal village of Bara district. The service was launched by Upendra Poudel, chief of Nepal Rastra Bank, Birgunj branch, says a bank statement.



The bank, which has established 42 branch offices in different parts of the country, has been offering branchless banking service from 17 different parts of the country. Using the service, customers can deposit or withdraw money, receive remittance income, transfer amount to other accounts, get account statement, pay bills of Nepal Telecom and top up balance in pre-paid mobile phones.
