SC dismisses writ petition against Pathibhara cable car construction

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: The Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed a writ petition challenging the construction of the Pathibhara cable car.

The petition was filed by Laxmi Tamang on behalf of the Indigenous Bar Association. However, the court refused to register it, stating that a writ petition on the same matter, filed by Aindra Kumar Limbu on 15 February 2021 on behalf of Kirat Yakthung Chumlung, is still pending along with a supplementary petition.
