Property worth Rs 2,50,000 looted in Siraha

SIRAHA, July 26: A gang of armed dacoits looted property worth Rs. 2,50,000 from the house of Sushila Thakur threatening her with a pistol, at Bastipur on Thursday morning.



According to the area police office, Mirchaiya, the gang robbed Rs 37,000 in cash, 3 tolas of gold and 20 tolas of silver from Thakur’s house.



The gang of some ten people made away with the property after the locals retaliated against them.According to Rajkumar Karki, a police inspector at the regional police office, three suspects have been taken under control in connection with the incident.
