Probe committee formed on question paper leakage

BHAKTAPUR, July 24: The Centre for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has on Tuesday formed a committee to probe into the leakage of question papers of various subjects under the Centre.



Question papers of the entrance exams held at the Eastern region examination centre on July 19 for various subjects of Intermediate and Diploma Level degrees had reportedly leaked out before the exams began.



The CTEVT examinations board meeting today formed the probe committee with Director of the Educational Human Resource Development Centre, Surya Prasad Gautam as its Convenor and including as members the Legal Officer at the Ministry of Education and one representative of the CTEVT Council.



The committee will present its report within the two weeks, said Chairperson of the Examinations Board, Gopal Khanal. The result of the entrance exams would also not been announced until the conclusion of the investigation is received, added Khanal.
