KATHAMNDU, Dec 20: Footwear Manufacturers Association of Nepal has informed that preparation for 12th edition of footwear expo to be held in Kathmandu from December 24 to December 30 has been completed.

Organizing a press meet on Sunday, the association said the expo will feature 105 stalls showcasing the different Nepali footwear brands. Nepal's footwear industry provides direct employment to around 50,000 people, 30 percent of which are women, officials of the association said in the press meet.
Nepal footwear companies enjoy 65 percent share in the country's footwear market, they added.
