KATHMANDU, Jan 8: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane said that the agreement reached with Kulman Ghising, who resigned from his ministerial post on Wednesday, is now moving toward formalisation through party procedures.
Speaking briefly to journalists on Thursday while returning from the Chitwan District Court, Lamichhane said the understanding was reached while Ghising was still in the government.

“We had reached an agreement when he was still in the government. Now that he has resigned and joined us, the party will begin the process of formalising that agreement,” Lamichhane said.
A few weeks ago, the RSP had reached an agreement with Ujyalo Nepal, a party led by Ghising. As per the agreement, Ghising was to be appointed as the party’s vice-chair and ranked second in the party hierarchy.
