KATHMANDU, Jan 25: The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) under the National Planning Commission has prepared the preliminary results of the National Census-2078 BS (2021).
The on-site work of the census was conducted in the first phase from September 15, 2021 to October 4, 2021 and the second phase from November 11, 2021 to November 25, 2021.

The preliminary results of the first census in the country after the promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal, 2072 BS will be made public through a virtual press conference on Wednesday, said Dhundi Raj Lamichhane, director at the Central Bureau of Statistics.
