KATHMANDU, March 24: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has blacklisted four construction companies. Based on recommendations from the Department of Roads and various local levels, the companies have been blacklisted from participating in public procurement for one to three years.
The companies facing action include Janakpur's SD Construction, Kathmandu's Arniko Nirman Company at Min Bhavan, Kathmandu's RSA Construction at Tarkeshwar and Bhojpur's Manakamana Suppliers.
PPMO blacklists 33 construction companies
Arniko Nirman Company has been blacklisted for three years, as stated in a notice published by the PPMO on Monday.
SD Construction from Dhanusha has been blacklisted for one year following a recommendation from the Bara District Coordination Committee Office in Kalaiya. Manakamana Suppliers has been blacklisted for one year based on a recommendation from the Pauwadungma Rural Municipality Office in Bhojpur.
RSA Construction from Tarkeshwar has been blacklisted for one year and six months, following a recommendation from the Panchakanya Rural Municipality in Nuwakot.
