PM Oli to visit Thailand to participate in BIMSTEC summit

KATHMANDU, March 25:  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to visit Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, to participate in the 6th BIMSTEC summit.



A cabinet meeting held on Monday evening approved PM Oli's visit to Thailand. PM Oli will depart for Thailand on April 1.

Thailand will host the BIMSTEC summit from April 2 to 4. As per the scheduled program, the BIMSTEC Foreign Secretaries' meeting will be held on April 2 in Bangkok, followed by the Foreign Ministers' meeting on April 3. On April 4, the meeting of BIMSTEC heads of state and government will take place.


PM Oli is scheduled to address the BIMSTEC Summit on April 4.
