Nepal's Sri Lanka envoy presents credentials to Lankan president

KATHMANDU, March 26: Purna Bahadur Nepali, Nepal's Ambassador to Sri Lanka, presented his credentials to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake of Sri Lanka.


Ambassador Nepali presented his credentials during a special ceremony at the Presidential Office in Colombo on Monday, as informed by the Nepal Embassy in Colombo.

On this occasion, Ambassador Nepali conveyed President Ramchandra Poudel's best wishes for President Dissanayake's personal well-being, good health, and the continued peace and progress of the people of Sri Lanka, a democratic socialist republic.


In return, President Dissanayake welcomed Ambassador Nepali and wished President Poudel good health, prosperity, and peace for the people of Nepal. The ceremony was attended by Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister, the Secretary of the Presidential Office, the Ambassador's spouse, and senior officials from both the Presidential Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
