ANFA to present annual budget of Rs 1.56 billion for upcoming FY

KATHMANDU, March 26: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) will present a budget of Rs. 1.56 billion for the upcoming fiscal year at its general assembly.


ANFA announced in a press release on Wednesday that its executive committee, after a two-day meeting, decided to hold the general assembly on May 9 and allocate this budget for annual programs and tournaments.

ANFA's executive committee approved the audit report for the fiscal year 2023/24 and decided to present it at the general assembly.


The committee also appointed Piyush Neupane as the Head of International Relations and approved Matt Ross as the head coach of the national men’s football team.


ANFA has stated that it will correspond with FIFA, AFC, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Nepal Police, and the association’s judicial body to investigate and take action against former president Ganesh Thapa for allegedly violating FIFA’s directives and engaging in misconduct.


Similarly, ANFA will forward serious complaints against Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka and other individuals to the relevant authorities for investigation and further action.
