Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bishnu Hari Koirala said that police constable Dipak Rokaya was injured in the incident. Rokaya, who has sustained injuries in his hand and stomach, is receiving treatment at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences in Jumla. The Academy said that condition of injured Rokaya is out of danger.
DSP Koirala confirmed that a person was held with an automatic pistol and investigations were going on.
