TAPLEJUNG, April 14: More than 221,000 devotees visited the revered Pathibhara Temple in Taplejung during the year 2081 BS, according to the Pathibhara Area Development Committee.
The temple collected over Rs 30.5 million in offerings (bheti). The highest number of visitors was recorded in the month of Kartik, with 61,173 pilgrims reaching the sacred site.

The committee regularly publishes monthly reports on the number of visitors and offerings to ensure transparency and inform the public and media, said Executive Director Prajin Hangbang.
He said that the temple has recently seen a significant rise in visitors from India and other countries. The practice of monthly reporting will continue to maintain accountability, he said.
