Only fewer people come out of their house due to the heat wave in the districts in Terai region. Locals in the villages stay inside the houses or in the shade cutting their regular activities.
The numbers of students going to the schools decreased but the schools are not in mood of giving summer holiday here as the classes were disrupted for long due to the recent Gorkha Quake and aftershocks.
Flow of patients visiting the hospitals and health posts in the district was up as locals began to suffer from various diseases including diarrhoea and fever. RSS
