KATHMANDU, Sept 13: The Nepal Stock Exchange index continued to increase today with a swell by 14.13 points to close at 1,244.84.
Likewise, the sensitive index that measures the performance of class 'A' stocks also surged 3.47 point to stand at 264.27.

The market recorded the trading of the total 2,711,110 shares of a total of 173 companies at over Rs 729 million.
The sub-index of banking made gains by 16.2 points, while development bank by 11.27, hydropower by 4.53, finance by 2.2, production section 2.06 and others by 22.29. But the subgroup of non-life insurance company tanked by 41.41 points, microfinance by 0.69 and life insurance company by 11.18. RSS
