‘Nepal to sign multiple agreements including petro deal with China’

KATHMANDU, March 16: Minister for Industry, Som Prasad Pandey on Wednesday said that Nepal will sign a trade and transit treaty and agreements on fuel import and trademark with China during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’ visit.

Speaking at an interaction at Reporters’ Club, Minister Pandey said that an agreement on the exploration of petroleum products will also be signed as the northern neighbor has already assured to help Nepal on the issue.

He further said that agreements will also be signed for the construction of an international airport in Pokhara and a bridge over the Simikot-Hilsa road section that will connect Humla to Tibet.

PM Oli is leaving on an eight-day visit to China on March 20.
