What is the purpose of your Nepal visit?
This is my first visit to Nepal. I am here basically to study the market of consumer electronics in general and TCL in particular. During my stay in Nepal, I will be holding talks with our local partner -- CG Digital -- to devise strategies for expanding market of TCL products in Nepal.
You said you want to expand market for TCL product. How important is the Nepali market for you?
Though Nepal is a comparatively small market for consumer electronics, the demand for electronic goods is growing here. TCL has remained one of the most preferred consumer electronic brands in Nepal. We believe the Nepali market is important for TCL which is on a mission to expand market across the globe. Currently, TCL products are available in 130 countries.
Do you have any plan to introduce new products in Nepal?
It has always remained a priority for us. We want to launch every TCL product in Nepal as soon as they are launched in the international market. Our products available in Nepal range from television sets to refrigerators and air conditioners, among others. Our latest models of television sets, refrigerators and air conditioners are available in the Nepali market. We hope to launch TCL mobile phones in Nepal every soon.
What is the USP of TCL products?
The market of consumer electronics is competitive around the globe, including Nepal, is competitive. Availability of quality products in competitive price is our unique selling point (USP). Similarly, wide range of products for different segments of consumers. It is also a plus point for us.
