KATHMANDU, Dec 21: The meeting of the main opposition party Nepali Congress' office-bearers held here today has deliberated on resolving the dispute regarding distribution of its active membership.

The meeting held at the personal residence of the Party's President Sushil Koirala at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu concluded the meeting issuing a directive to concerned authority in the Party to address the issues in a judicious manner, according to NC leader Ramesh Lekhak.

Today's meeting reached an agreement in line with Sunday's Central Working Committee's decision to submit the list of the active members to Party President Koirala within three days after carrying a thorough investigation on the dispute on distribution of active memberships.

Of the total 60 districts where NC has distributed active membership, distribution of the same to its members in Siriha, Saptari, Parsa and Rautahat is the most disputed one.

"Today's meeting mulled on the various voices of grievances coming from several districts in connection to the distribution of active membership," shared NC Central Committee member, adding that the meeting ended on a note to resolve the dispute on the same judiciously. RSS
