After being discharged, Vice-President Poudel thanked all doctors attending him and those wishing good health to him, according to his aide Chiranjivi Adhikari.
Talking to media persons, Vice-President Poudel said present political deadlock would be removed if the party leaders became honest and responsible towards people and country.
During the treatment at hospital, various leaders talked about the political consensus, he said, adding that even the UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stressed the need for consensus to solve problems.
In another note, leader Poudel urged the government to immediately provide chemical fertilizer to the farmers across the country.
