KATHMANDU, Jan 20: CPN (Maoist Center) Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun has been discharged from the hospital after his health improved. He was discharged from Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur on Friday afternoon.

He attended the program of Rolpa Samriddha Foundation in Rolpa. He was brought to Kathmandu in a helicopter last month and admitted to Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur after he had serious health complications.
Earlier today, Minister for Health and Population Padam Giri visited him at the hospital and wished him a speedy recovery. Some time ago, he underwent medical treatment at a hospital in China due to health problems.
