Speaking at an interaction program organized by Reporters Club in the capital on Thursday, NC Kathmandu President Bhimsen Das Pradhan said Koirala was the only party candidate for the post. [break]
“No one in the party can claim the coveted post once Koirala makes the claim,” Pradhan added.
NC Gulmi President Chandra KC claimed that his party would propose the prime ministerial candidate within next 10 days. “Our party is clear on the prime ministerial candidate,” KC claimed.
He also added that his party has not been able to nominate a PM candidate as they are not convinced by Maoists’ motives.
NC Dolakha President Tara Bahadur Koirala said that leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and Ram Chandra Paudel will only be able to claim for PM post if the party president refuses to become PM.
