Minister Rai admitted that the access of information is yet to trickle through to the common people and added that the Information Ministry was striving to reform its quality.
The Minister further noted what he termed as a 'huge decadence' plaguing the Nepal's online media sector. The Ministry will formulate an online directive to stop such decadence, Minister Rai said.
Health Ministry's Joint Secretary, Gunraj Lohani, said the app was launched at an appropriate time while expressing belief it will contribute to a big support during crisis.
Nepal Medical Association Chairman, Dr Anjani Kumar Jha, said the app would play a significant role in advancing Nepal's health sector.
The app will provide information on all the hospitals in the country, doctors' list, hospitals' health related service, doctors' schedule, pharmacy information, ambulance, clinics, blood donation and details on illness and diseases. RSS
