Manorath Pathak,50, a resident of Surunga-5 was found dead in hotel room number 207 on Saturday evening, according to DSP at the Area Police Office, Kadak Bahadur Khatri.
He had booked into the hotel on January 25 with an unidentified woman.
Pathak was found lying dead in his bed by the hotel proprietor who informed the police.
The body has been sent to Mechi Zonal Hospital for a post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the woman who was accompanying him in the hotel room is at large. A search has been initiated to find her while an investigation is underway to find the truth about the incident, police said. RSS
