KATHMANDU, Feb 23: A westerly wind pattern is currently impacting the country. The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has predicted partly cloudy weather in the hilly areas, including Koshi Province, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear. Parts of the Terai may experience mist or fog, while some hilly areas in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces could see light rain with thunder and lightning. Moreover, light snowfall is possible in a few high-hill and mountain areas.
Tonight, some hill regions will have partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the nation will be partly cloudy or clear. Light snowfall is possible in a couple of high-altitude areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is possible in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces’ hilly areas within the next day.
