POKHARA, Oct 9: Kaski district has recorded yet another coronavirus-related death.
According to Gandaki Province Health Directorate, the deceased is a 78-year-old male from Pokhara Metropolitan City-8.

He was admitted to Charak Memorial Hospital in Pokhara after being diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recently.
The coronavirus patient breathed his last while undergoing treatment on Friday. The deceased was suffering from fever, common cold and dysentery for the past three days.
28 additional cases in Gandaki
Meanwhile, the coronavirus case tally in Gandaki Province has risen to 4,600 with 28 new cases of COVID-19 recorded on Friday afternoon. Twenty-eight new cases were detected during polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests conducted at the Tuberculosis Treatment Center and Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
Of the new coronavirus patients, 11 are from Kaski, 11 are from Tanahu and six are from Myagdi.
