A team of Indian police led by DSP Manoj Ram nabbed him from Kataiya village at Birpur area.[break]
Yadav, who was facing a jail term on the charge of murder, abduction and forging a Nepali citizenship certificate, had escaped from Jhumka prison house, along with 11 other inmates, by digging an 80-feet tunnel on November 9last year. Yadav was enlisted as the most wanted list of both India and Nepal police.
Along with Yadav, four other prisoners were also arrested. However, the identities of them are yet to be ascertained. Talking to Republica, DSP Ram declined to expose the names of the arrestees as their operation is still underway.
