The new 111cc metal body scooter was launched by Deepak Mokashi, Head of Global Business, Hero Motocorp, according to a statement issued by the company.The new Duet is available at Rs 171,500.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Mokashi said that Nepal is one of the most important markets for Hero. "I am confident that the Duet, along with the recently introduced Dash scooter, will help us consolidate our market share in the scooter segment here," added Mokashi.
Duet delivers an impressive performance with a 111-cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, producing a maximum power output of 8.31 BHP at 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 8.3 Nm at 6500 rpm. According to the company, the scooter offers an impressive mileage of 63.8 km/liter.
The Duet also incorporates features such as external fuel filling, under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat opening and fuel-lid opening, boot light, service due indicator, side stand indicator, twin parking lamps, boot-light in the glove box, among others. It is available at six colors -- candy blazing red, pearl silver white, grace grey, nature green, panther black and vernier grey.
