KATHMANDU, May 2 : The government will incorporate all health-related subsidies and support programs into the national health insurance system.
President Ramchandra Paudel made the announcement while presenting the government's policies and programs for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 in the parliament.

Paudel also mentioned that the health insurance program will be restructured to ensure its sustainability. “All health-related assistance and subsidy programs will be integrated into the health insurance scheme and the insurance program will be restructured to make it sustainable,” he said.
